In the background on a 50″ Sharp Roku TV is Dantes Inferno (2010), the anime. I will spare you the diatribe that I usually reserve for my wife and close friends, where I love to hear myself talk. vein.fm has put out a solid record that represents the late 90’s and early 2000’s Hardcore and NuMetal scene.

Ghostface Killah – Daytona 500 ft. Raekwon, & Cappadonna from Hip-Hop Music Videos on Vimeo.

Daytona 500 the original AMV (Anime Music Video) was released in 1996. I remember hearing about the video from a kid in high school. “Yo! did you see that japanamation video for the new Ghostface song?” The video was based on a series of Speed Racer clips from the original Japanese Television show. Eventually Sony Music would have the video pulled due to copyright issues. Pictured below is the original cover art for Ghostface Killah’s single Camay and the b-side Daytona 500.
